My parents raised my siblings and me to value faith, curiosity, and hard work. Growing up on the U.S.–Mexico border, I saw opportunity and struggle side by side. I learned that leadership is not about title, but responsibility. Progress is not something we wait for. It is something we build.
Some believe you must choose between business and public service, technology and community. I do not. Whether building companies, launching nonprofits, or serving in public life, my purpose remains the same: to serve, to imagine, & to build.
At the core of my work is one belief: Leadership is faith that lifts, courage that dares, and vision that endures—for the future is built forward. That belief drives everything I do, and it is what I ask of all who walk this path with me. Together, we can create a city, a country, and a world where every generation rises higher still.

Through technology, culture, and community, Beto builds and invests in ventures that expand opportunity. As Co-founder and CEO of Irys Technologies, he leads innovation in cybersecurity for government and industry, and co-founded Lucien, building the security layer that makes AI safe, scalable, and more sustainable to adopt. As an angel investor and a member of Alamo Angels, he backs early-stage founders, and co-owns Mural Coffee Roasters, a community-rooted shop on the West Side of San Antonio. His work reflects a single mission: to strengthen the fabric of community through enterprise.
